‘Te Nehenehenui’ is a two part series encapsulating visions of the tribe I belong to, Ngāti Maniapoto, and the area we’re from, Te Nehenehenui.

The first part is a commissioned series of videos for Maniapoto FM as part of the tribe’s language and culture revitalisation, highlighting tāngata whenua (original inhabitants) of the area. The second component is a photographic series of the landscape and specific natural attributes of the encompassing region.
